Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications and features within our FinTech platforms.
• Actively learn and apply Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA frameworks under guidance.
• Contribute to the implementation and integration of REST APIs and web services for seamless system communication.
• Perform database operations, including CRUD, utilizing SQL, PostgreSQL, and JDBC to manage and interact with data.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Collaborate effectively with senior developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for efficient code management, branching, merging, and collaboration.
• Engage in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve software defects and ensure optimal application performance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc./BCA/MCA) or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Core Java, including a solid understanding of OOPs concepts, Collections Framework, Exception Handling, and Multithreading Basics.
• Familiarity with modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Proficiency in SQL database fundamentals, with experience or exposure to PostgreSQL being a significant advantage.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JDBC, and build tools like Maven.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new technologies, and take initiative in a fast-paced development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail, crucial for a successful Java Developer - Trainee.
• Must be an immediate joiner and currently residing in Mumbai or willing to relocate immediately, as this is an in-office position.
