As an R&D Intern, you will be instrumental in handling sky and cloud images, contributing directly to projects that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning. This role is perfectly suited for freshers and current students eager to gain hands-on experience in image processing, data science, and AI/ML within a dynamic R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively collect, organize, and manage sky and cloud images captured by various devices, ensuring data integrity.
• Thoroughly inspect images for optimal clarity, quality, and overall usability, maintaining high standards for datasets.
• Precisely identify and accurately mark cloud regions within images using predefined color codes and guidelines.
• Systematically categorize and annotate images based on detailed specifications to support AI/ML model training.
• Rigorously check image annotations for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Proactively correct any inaccuracies or inconsistencies in annotations to ensure data quality.
• Efficiently upload and meticulously maintain images and associated metadata within the company's database systems.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive image records, metadata, and generate basic data reports as required.
• Provide essential support to the core R&D team in the preparation of robust datasets for advanced AI/ML and image analysis initiatives.
• Diligently follow all guidelines, instructions, and best practices provided by the experienced R&D team members.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (e.g., BA, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc.).
• Demonstrable basic computer proficiency and comfort with data-entry tasks.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet software such as MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• A strong ability to work with digital images and an aptitude for visual analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of observation skills.
• Proven capability to meticulously follow instructions and adhere to established guidelines.
• Good communication skills and an enthusiastic willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• A genuine interest in image processing, AI/ML, data science, or weather data is highly preferred.
