Software Tester Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive software testing across various stages, including system testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Develop, document, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Actively participate in defect identification, logging, tracking, and reporting processes, utilizing relevant tools to ensure clear communication of issues.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and project management teams to understand project requirements and contribute to an efficient Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Perform thorough bug verification and retesting of resolved issues to confirm fixes and prevent regressions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, including understanding the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Assist in the preparation of test data and environment setup for various testing activities.
• Document test results, create status reports, and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• A strong foundational understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Eagerness to learn and apply different types of testing techniques, including manual testing and exploratory testing.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to identify inconsistencies and potential software issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and defect reporting.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a professional and results-oriented environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for ensuring high-quality software products.
