Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Perform timely bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Utilize and maintain SAGE 300, SAGE ACCPAC, and other related SAGE accounting software for efficient record-keeping and financial management.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial data and provide comprehensive financial support.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is essential.
• Proven work experience of 2-3 years as an Accountant, demonstrating strong proficiency in financial management.
• Exceptional hands-on expertise with SAGE 300, SAGE ACCPAC, and other components of the SAGE accounting software suite.
• Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret financial data and present findings clearly.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Immediate availability to join the team is a strong preference for this Accountant position.
