Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced data models and data pipelines to support analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Work extensively with AWS Redshift and Azure Databricks for scalable data processing and storage solutions.
• Develop and maintain Python and PySpark scripts for data transformation, automation, and integration tasks.
• Lead or contribute to significant cloud migration projects, specifically from Azure to AWS environments.
• Develop and administer Power BI dashboards and reports, leveraging DAX for complex calculations and insights.
• Manage and optimize Alteryx workflows and administration, ensuring efficient data processing and delivery.
• Implement and maintain Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) solutions, including IDMC, to ensure data quality and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective data-driven solutions.
• Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of data systems and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 to 12 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud platforms, or business intelligence roles.
• Proficiency in data modelling techniques and strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including services like AWS Redshift and Azure Databricks.
• Demonstrable expertise in Python programming, particularly with libraries like PySpark for big data processing.
• Proven experience with Business Intelligence tools, especially Power BI development and administration, including DAX.
• Experience with data integration and ETL/ELT tools like Alteryx and Informatica MDM (including IDMC).
• A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data lakes, and modern data architecture principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
