Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for Android applications.
• Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable Android applications using best practices and clean code principles.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, identifying and correcting bottlenecks and bugs.
• Integrate with various backend services and third-party APIs to deliver comprehensive mobile solutions.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and enhance user experience.
• Maintain and improve existing applications, performing regular updates and enhancements based on feedback and market trends.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to company standards.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and designs into functional user interfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience level from fresher up to 3 years in Android app development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin or Java.
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Knowledge of database management, particularly SQL, for local data storage and retrieval.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be currently based in Surat, India, and willing to work from our Mota Varachha office.
