Application Support Engineers

Aress Software is actively seeking a diligent Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nashik. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and possess a strong passion for ensuring the optimal performance and availability of software applications. As an Application Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in providing critical support for our enterprise applications, resolving complex issues, and collaborating with various teams to enhance system stability and user experience.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support of business applications, which includes monitoring, incident management, problem resolution, and proactive maintenance. We are looking for candidates who are quick learners and adept at analytical thinking to diagnose and resolve application-specific challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for various software applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Monitor application performance and availability, identifying and addressing potential problems proactively.
• Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve complex application bugs and system errors.
• Perform root cause analysis for application incidents and implement permanent solutions.
• Assist in the deployment of new application features and patches, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Document support procedures, solutions, and application configurations to maintain up-to-date knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in BCA, MCA, B.Sc., B.E., B.Tech, E&TC, or CDS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on application-level issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective internal and external interactions.
• Ability to understand application architecture and data flows.
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., SQL) and querying languages is a plus.
• Prior experience in application support or a related IT role is advantageous, but freshers are encouraged.
