Assistant Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain Operations

ProcMart is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain Operations to join our rapidly expanding team in Noida. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day logistics, transportation, vehicle placement, and delivery operations with a focus on efficiency and punctuality.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new transporters, float Requests for Quotation (RFQs), negotiate competitive rates, and maintain a robust transporter database.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of freight costs, develop strategic benchmarks, and spearhead initiatives aimed at significant cost reduction.
• Coordinate seamlessly with internal departments including sourcing, suppliers, warehouse, finance, and sales to ensure timely and efficient material movement.
• Oversee the meticulous collection of Proof of Delivery (PODs), verify freight documentation, manage invoice verification, and streamline billing processes.
• Drive continuous process improvement, develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and champion the digitisation of logistics operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven professional experience of 3+ years in logistics operations, transportation management, and overall supply chain coordination.
• Demonstrated expertise in transporter management, freight cost optimization, and strong negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools and relevant supply chain management software (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities to foster strong internal and external relationships.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to driving process improvements and digitisation initiatives.
