Associate Backend Developer

Dashloc is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic Backend Developer to join our growing team in Bangalore. As a Backend Developer executive & Lead, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend services that power our innovative products. We are looking for a highly skilled individual passionate about building efficient, secure, and high-performance APIs and database solutions, contributing significantly to our core platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable backend systems, primarily utilizing Python and modern web frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
• Architect, optimize, and maintain complex database schemas, ensuring data integrity and optimal query performance for PostgreSQL.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, secure REST APIs to support various front-end applications, mobile clients, and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver effective solutions.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high code quality across the team.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, resolve complex bugs, and ensure the reliability and stability of existing systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language, with a deep understanding of its ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with modern web frameworks such as Django or FastAPI, including practical experience in building applications with them.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain robust and secure REST APIs.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with PostgreSQL database management, including schema design, query optimization, and data migration.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
