Associate Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Actively assist in the continuous monitoring, maintenance, and proactive troubleshooting of complex network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless environments.
• Perform configuration, installation, and ongoing support for a variety of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Collaborate closely with senior network engineers and IT teams to swiftly diagnose and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Contribute to the successful planning and implementation of network upgrades, system enhancements, and new network installations across various projects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, operational procedures, and problem resolution steps for knowledge management.
• Conduct routine network performance analysis, identify potential bottlenecks, and assist in reporting findings and recommending improvements for our network systems.
• Participate in security audits and implement best practices to ensure the integrity and safety of our network infrastructure.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, or a closely related technical field.
• Demonstrable understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, and switching.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and challenging environments.
• A proactive, results-oriented attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Must be an immediate joiner, ready to commence work without delay at our Pune office.
• Prior exposure to networking tools or labs during academic projects will be a significant plus for this Network Engineer role.
