Axiom Developer

IBM is seeking an experienced Axiom Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves significant hands-on development with Axiom CV-9/10/11 versions, focusing on regulatory reporting for the US and UK markets. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in database concepts and PL/SQL to deliver robust and efficient reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Axiom CV-9/10/11, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Design and configure Axiom objects including Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Freeform Reports, and Workflows.
• Implement and manage US/UK Regulatory Reporting requirements such as CCAR, Call Reports, COREP, FINREP, and Liquidity Reporting.
• Optimize database performance through expert use of Oracle PL/SQL and advanced tuning techniques.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and users to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and deliver comprehensive reports.
• Apply frequent Axiom patches and updates to the existing codebase, maintaining system integrity and currency.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience with Axiom CV-9/10/11 versions.
• Proven expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, database concepts, and performance tuning.
• Strong experience in developing Axiom configuration objects.
• Demonstrable experience with US/UK Regulatory Reporting (CCAR, Call Reports, COREP, FINREP, Liquidity Reporting).
• Familiarity with applying Axiom patches and updates.
• Solid understanding of BASEL Frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
