Azure Cloud Engineer – Healthcare

As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining robust, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions, ensuring high availability and performance for critical healthcare systems. Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support complex Azure Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) environments, including Azure Virtual Networks, Compute, Storage, and Identity Services.
• Perform comprehensive Windows and Linux Server Administration within the Azure ecosystem, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Manage and maintain existing VMware and Nutanix virtualized environments, ensuring seamless integration and operation with hybrid cloud strategies.
• Implement and oversee Azure Site Recovery and Disaster Recovery solutions to guarantee business continuity and data integrity.
• Focus on Azure Security, Governance, and Cost Optimization strategies, identifying and applying best practices to protect assets and manage expenditures.
• Administer NetApp Storage solutions, ensuring efficient data management and accessibility.
• Actively participate in an on-call rotation (approximately every 5-6 weeks) to provide timely support and incident resolution for critical systems.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Engineering, with a strong emphasis on infrastructure and platform services.
• Proven expertise in Azure Infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS) administration, support, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Azure Virtual Networks, Compute, Storage, and Identity Services.
• Strong experience in both Windows and Linux Server Administration.
• Mandatory experience with VMware; familiarity with Nutanix is highly preferred.
• Experience implementing and managing Azure Site Recovery and comprehensive Disaster Recovery plans.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Security, Governance, and Cost Optimization principles and tools.
• Experience with NetApp Storage systems is required.
• Possession of an Azure platform certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (USC) or Green Card holder due to client requirements.
