Backend Developer

Calsoft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Golang and Python to join our dynamic team in Hinjewadi, Pune. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on developer to contribute to building robust and scalable backend services and microservices, leveraging cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend architecture and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

As a Backend Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our core backend systems. You will work within a collaborative environment, focusing on delivering high-quality, performant, and secure applications. This role requires a blend of strong coding skills and a solid grasp of modern backend development principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services and microservices using Golang and Python.
• Design and implement REST APIs, ensuring robust API security, authentication, and authorization.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement concurrent programming patterns using Goroutines, channels, mutexes, and synchronization in Golang.
• Contribute to system design and backend architecture discussions, providing insights and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate backend services seamlessly.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of strong hands-on experience in Backend Development with Golang (Go) and Python.
• In-depth understanding of Goroutines, concurrency, channels, mutexes, and synchronization in Golang.
• Proven experience with Python backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or Django REST Framework.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and experience with API security mechanisms.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and coding skills.
• Familiarity with system design and backend architecture principles.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
