Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities and emerging trends within the global Pharma & Biotech industries.
• Proactively identify, qualify, and engage with prospective B2B clients through various channels, fostering initial connections and building rapport.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their needs and positioning Roots Analysis's solutions effectively.
• Prepare compelling business proposals, presentations, and sales pitches tailored to specific client requirements and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate closely with internal research and consulting teams to ensure seamless client delivery and alignment of business development strategies.
• Manage and update the CRM system with all client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making and identify new areas for growth.
• Actively participate in industry conferences, webinars, and networking events to represent Roots Analysis and expand professional networks.
• Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans to achieve ambitious business development targets and company objectives.

Requirements

• Recently completed an MBA in Marketing from a recognized institution.
• Possess a foundational academic background in Life Sciences (e.g., Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of interpreting market data and identifying strategic insights.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven individual with a strong commitment to achieving targets.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• This position is specifically for freshers; no prior professional experience in business development is required.
• Ability to work full-time from our Mohali office is essential for this role.
