BIM Coordinator - MEP

JKRBIM is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Coordinator - MEP to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This pivotal role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality services across our diverse projects in GIS, LIDAR, BIM, Mapping, Building, Environmental, Utility, and Infrastructure Industries. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong background in MEP systems and specific expertise in data center projects, ready to contribute to challenging and impactful initiatives.

As a BIM Coordinator - MEP at JKRBIM, you will be instrumental in managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling processes for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. Your primary focus will be on projects involving critical data center infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration, clash detection, and accurate model delivery. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of BIM methodologies and relevant software applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination of BIM activities for all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, with a strong emphasis on data center projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to project BIM execution plans, standards, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform regular clash detection and facilitate effective resolution meetings with multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure BIM models accurately reflect design intent and construction requirements.
• Manage, maintain, and update BIM models, ensuring data integrity and consistency across all project phases.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of BIM strategies and workflows to enhance project efficiency and quality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM-related queries and best practices for complex infrastructure.
• Oversee the detailed documentation and reporting of BIM coordination progress and issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of overall professional experience in the construction or engineering industry.
• Mandatory proven experience as a BIM Coordinator, specifically with a focus on MEP systems.
• Demonstrable and significant experience working on data center projects as a coordinator is essential.
• Proficiency in industry-standard BIM software, including but not limited to Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of various engineering disciplines related to MEP systems.
• Familiarity with GIS, LIDAR, and other advanced mapping technologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teams.
• Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
