Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst - D365 F&O Finance Functional, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between client business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand complex financial processes and translate them into effective D365 F&O configurations and implementations, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements from clients and key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.
• Conduct thorough business process analysis and Fit-Gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and propose optimal D365 F&O solutions.
• Work extensively with various D365 F&O Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, and Taxation.
• Manage Project Management, Inventory & Costing modules within D365 F&O, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Prepare detailed documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), and user manuals.
• Design, prepare, and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, providing support for defect resolution throughout the testing phases.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure functional designs are accurately translated into technical specifications and implemented effectively.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2.5 to 5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on D365 F&O Finance modules.
• In-depth functional knowledge of D365 F&O Finance areas including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank, Taxation, Project Management, Inventory & Costing.
• Proficiency in preparing various project documentation, including BRD, FRD, FDD, and functional specifications.
• Prior experience in executing SIT/UAT and providing efficient defect resolution support.
• Knowledge of India GST and localization requirements is a significant advantage.
• Possession of a CA, CA Inter, or a Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
