Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the design and implementation of comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and processes for a new manufacturing facility.
  • Drive organizational development and HR transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and growth trajectory.
  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition strategies, from workforce planning to recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention, for diverse roles across the organization.
  • Effectively manage industrial relations, fostering a harmonious and productive work environment within the plant.
  • Develop and nurture a robust company culture that attracts, engages, and retains top talent, aligning with the values of a pioneering manufacturing business.
  • Provide strategic counsel to the senior leadership team on all human capital matters, including compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and national labor laws and regulations, promoting ethical and fair HR practices.
  • Implement and optimize HR technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 to 18 years of progressive HR experience, with significant leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated strong exposure to both Corporate HR functions and practical Plant HR operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in organization design, large-scale HR transformation projects, talent acquisition, and industrial relations.
  • Experience in greenfield, brownfield, or rapidly scaling manufacturing setups is essential.
  • Background in heavy industries such as Mining, Metals, Chemicals, Heavy Engineering, Infrastructure, Cement, Energy, or Explosives will be highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of driving initiatives from concept to successful execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
