Commercial Engineer

IMARC Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Techno-Commercial Engineer specializing in Estimation, Costing, and Vendor Development. This role is crucial for our operations in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and requires a professional with a strong background in both technical project costing and strategic vendor management. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring cost-effective project execution and building robust vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and item-wise cost breakdowns.
• Identify, develop, and manage a network of reliable vendors to support project requirements.
• Thoroughly evaluate quotations, compare rates, and negotiate commercial terms to secure optimal pricing and conditions.
• Prepare comprehensive techno-commercial comparisons to support informed vendor finalization decisions.
• Coordinate seamlessly with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate cost sheets and meticulously organized estimation records for all projects.
• Support the overall project lifecycle from estimation through vendor engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience in techno-commercial roles.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of project costing methodologies, quotation evaluation, and vendor negotiation strategies.
• Proven hands-on experience in both cost estimation and vendor management/development is mandatory.
• Prior experience in engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects is highly preferred.
