Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions for retail analytics.
• Perform complex data processing, transformation, and automation using Python and SQL.
• Implement and manage Data Lake Architectures, including data ingestion, storage, and processing.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data integration, validation, and quality assurance.
• Utilize cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data engineering tasks.
• Apply Databricks and Spark for distributed data processing and scalable analytics.
• Develop and implement data models for Data Warehousing, Lakehouse, and Medallion Architecture.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to present insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Data Analytics or Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of Data Lake Architecture and ETL/ELT principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Demonstrated experience with Databricks and Spark.
• Solid background in Data Modeling, including Data Warehousing and Lakehouse concepts.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Proven experience working with retail or e-commerce datasets (sales, inventory, customer behavior).
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory, PySpark, Delta Lake, or Azure Databricks is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
