Data Analyst / MIS Executive

Retail Scan Management Services Pvt. Ltd. is actively seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented MIS Executive to join our growing team in Borivali East, Mumbai. As an MIS Executive, you will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and presenting critical business data, providing invaluable insights that drive strategic decision-making across various departments. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 1-2 years of experience in Management Information Systems to contribute to our operational efficiency and support our continued success in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze large datasets from various internal and external sources to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators.
• Develop, generate, and distribute comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to relevant stakeholders.
• Design, maintain, and update interactive dashboards and data visualization tools using platforms like Excel and business intelligence software to enhance data accessibility.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all data used for reporting, performing regular data validation and reconciliation activities.
• Collaborate closely with different departments to understand their specific reporting requirements and translate business needs into effective data solutions.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide insightful interpretations of data and reports to support management in making informed, data-driven business decisions.
• Assist in the automation of reporting processes where feasible, leveraging technological solutions to streamline operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience as an MIS Executive, Data Analyst, or in a similar data-focused role.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and macro development.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with SQL for querying databases, extracting, and manipulating data.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates currently residing in or having easy commute access to Mumbai Western Suburbs will be given preference.
