Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in collecting, processing, and performing statistical analyses on large datasets. Your work will directly support various business functions by providing critical insights that inform strategy, optimize operations, and identify new opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business objectives.
• Develop and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics strategies, and other tools to increase analytical efficiency.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate business questions into analytical problems.
• Create compelling and informative reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualize data and communicate findings.
• Prepare and deliver clear, concise PowerPoint presentations outlining analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis methodologies and processes within the organization.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing rigorous data quality checks and validation.
• Support business decision-making processes by providing timely and relevant data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Analytics or Business Analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation, with the ability to write complex queries.
• Strong command of Python, especially with the Pandas library, for data cleaning, analysis, and transformation.
• Excellent Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare professional and effective PowerPoint presentations.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and proactively drive projects to completion.
• Exposure to the Retail industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Snowflake is a desirable asset.
