Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough data audits to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and potential errors within large datasets, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Utilize SQL to query, extract, and manipulate data from various databases, performing detailed analysis and validation procedures.
• Apply advanced Excel functionalities for data cleaning, transformation, and comprehensive reporting, turning raw data into actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau to visualize audit findings and present them clearly to stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce data validation rules and processes to ensure data quality standards are met across all data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, address data quality issues, and support data-driven initiatives.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations meticulously, contributing to the continuous improvement of data governance practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data auditing, data analytics, and data management to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in a data analysis, data auditing, or a similar data-centric role.
• Demonstrable strong practical knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation, essential for effective data auditing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity and practical experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau for reporting and dashboard creation.
• Proven ability in data analysis, data cleaning, and data validation techniques to ensure high data quality.
• Solid understanding of data management principles and experience in generating insightful data reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and presentation of findings.
