We are actively seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with specialized expertise in Knowledge Graph technologies. This remote contract opportunity requires a professional who can design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, specifically focusing on leveraging knowledge graphs to enhance data intelligence and connectivity. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure data services.
- Implement and manage Knowledge Graph solutions, including data modeling, ingestion, and querying.
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data warehousing solutions on Azure.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate Knowledge Graph outputs into analytical models.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all data engineering initiatives.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure and applications to maintain high performance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Azure data services and Knowledge Graphs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer, with a strong focus on data pipeline development.
- Demonstrable expertise in Knowledge Graph concepts, tools, and implementation.
- Proficiency with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Scala.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
