Data Engineer (Azure)

EPAM Systems is actively seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in Azure data services and a passion for building robust and scalable data solutions. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions within the Azure ecosystem.
• Write efficient and optimized code using Python and PySpark for data processing.
• Work extensively with Apache Spark for large-scale data analytics and processing.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for various data manipulation and retrieval tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Engineering.
• Proficiency in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and other Azure data services.
• Strong coding skills in Python and PySpark.
• Extensive experience with Apache Spark and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of data structures.
• Ability to join within 30 days or immediately is highly preferred.
