Data Engineer

eClerx is actively seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Snowflake to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Snowflake data platforms and reliable ELT/ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, and modern transformation tools.
• Build analytical data models, data marts, and reusable datasets to support BI, analytics, data science, and business applications.
• Implement data-engineering patterns such as CDC, incremental processing, deduplication, SCD Type 1/2, and schema evolution.
• Design and optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Utilize appropriate Snowflake capabilities such as Dynamic Tables, Streams/Tasks, Snowpipe, or Snowpark based on specific use cases.
• Develop reusable transformation frameworks and support CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Collaborate with analytics, BI, data science, application, and business teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor intermediate engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in data engineering and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 7 to 8 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proven expertise in Snowflake data warehousing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development.
• Experience with ELT/ETL pipeline design and implementation.
• Familiarity with data-engineering patterns like CDC, incremental processing, and schema evolution.
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and automated deployment processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
