Data Engineer

ZecData Technology is looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Azure cloud platforms. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and data solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable data engineering solutions, contributing significantly to our data analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse/Data Factory.
• Implement data solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse for data storage and processing.
• Optimize data warehousing solutions and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Develop and maintain data models, including Medallion Architecture and incremental loading strategies.
• Perform Change Data Capture (CDC) and data synchronization across various systems.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Solid understanding of ELT methodologies and data modeling principles.
• Experience with incremental loads and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
