Electrical Engineer (Technician)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of 132kV and higher voltage substations and transmission systems, ensuring adherence to national and international standards.
• Manage the end-to-end testing, commissioning, and seamless grid connectivity of various power projects, maintaining strict quality and safety protocols.
• Implement and maintain Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, configure protection relays, and perform comprehensive fault analysis to ensure system reliability and stability.
• Integrate advanced solar electrical systems and modern switchgear into large-scale renewable energy installations, optimizing performance and efficiency.
• Lead and manage on-site project execution, including supervising teams, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative solutions and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, project documentation, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 8 to 14 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, specifically within the power sector or renewable energy domain.
• Demonstrated expertise in the design, construction, and operation of 132kV and above substations and high-voltage transmission systems.
• Proficiency in SCADA systems, protection relay settings, and practical experience in fault diagnosis and resolution.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with solar electrical systems and various types of switchgear.
• Proven track record in site execution, project management, and leading technical teams in challenging environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and safety.
