Firewall Expert

FutureTech Factory One, a proud member of the AvenDATA Group, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firewall Expert to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position is perfect for a dedicated professional with a strong background in FortiGate technologies who is ready to make an immediate impact. As a Firewall Expert, you will play a crucial role in securing our network infrastructure and ensuring the robust performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain FortiGate 200F & 600F firewall appliances, ensuring optimal security and performance.
• Configure and troubleshoot FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and ADOMs for centralized management and logging.
• Develop and implement firewall policies, NAT rules, VIPs, and ACLs to control network traffic.
• Establish and maintain secure remote access solutions using SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, and SD-WAN.
• Configure High Availability (HA) in both Active-Passive and Active-Active modes for maximum uptime.
• Implement and manage security features such as IPS, Antivirus, Web Filtering, and Application Control.
• Configure and manage routing protocols including BGP and OSPF, along with VLANs, DMZ, and network segmentation.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement secure network solutions for multi-site and large enterprise deployments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Firewall Expert, specifically with FortiGate technologies.
• Mandatory expertise with FortiGate 200F & 600F, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and ADOMs.
• Proven experience in configuring Firewall Policies, NAT, VIPs, and ACLs.
• Strong knowledge of SSL VPN, IPsec VPN, and SD-WAN implementation.
• Demonstrated experience with High Availability (HA) configurations (Active-Passive / Active-Active).
• Proficiency in IPS, Antivirus, Web Filtering, and Application Control.
• Solid understanding and experience with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DMZ, and Network Segmentation.
• Immediate joiners or candidates serving notice periods are highly preferred.
