GCP Data Engineer

Alike Thoughts InfoSystems is seeking an experienced GCP Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and work with LTIMindtree. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services.
• Implement data warehousing solutions with BigQuery and optimize queries for performance.
• Develop and deploy data processing jobs using Dataflow and PySpark.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all data engineering initiatives.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution and data availability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering practices and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-12 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on GCP.
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with PySpark.
• Solid understanding of SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site, collaborative team environment.
