Amrut Hospitality Services LLP is actively seeking an experienced and strategic Head – Human Resources (HR) to lead our entire HR function. Based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, this pivotal full-time role will be instrumental in supporting the growth and operational excellence of our dynamic hospitality and industrial catering businesses. We are looking for a visionary HR leader who can build and scale HR operations, fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and employee engagement.
As the Head – Human Resources (HR), you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive HR strategies that align with our business objectives, ensuring the well-being and productivity of our diverse workforce. Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Spearhead end-to-end recruitment strategies, talent sourcing, employer branding, and efficient onboarding processes to attract, hire, and retain top-tier talent across all levels of the organization.
- Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Oversee robust payroll administration, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strict adherence to all statutory regulations, labor laws, and internal policies.
- Labour Law Compliance: Develop, implement, and meticulously monitor HR policies and procedures that comply with local, state, and national labor laws, ensuring legal soundness and ethical HR practices.
- Employee Relations: Drive positive employee relations, manage grievances, facilitate conflict resolution, and foster a supportive, inclusive, and highly productive work environment.
- Performance Management: Design, implement, and manage effective performance management systems, including goal setting, regular appraisals, constructive feedback mechanisms, and structured career development plans.
- HR Strategy & Team Leadership: Formulate and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives, lead and mentor the HR team, and provide expert guidance to senior management on all HR-related matters.
- Policy Development & Implementation: Proactively formulate, review, and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to ensure they are current, compliant, and supportive of organizational goals.
- Training & Development: Identify critical training needs, develop, and implement targeted training and development programs to enhance employee skills, improve performance, and support career growth within the company.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a significant tenure in a leadership or Head of HR role.
- Master’s degree (MSW or MBA) in Human Resource Management (HRM) from a recognized and reputable institution.
- Proven expertise in core HR functions including Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, Payroll Management, Statutory & Labour Law Compliance, and Employee Relations.
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies and successfully leading and mentoring HR teams.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, particularly within the Hospitality, Industrial Catering, Facility Management, or broader Service Industry.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence, persuade, and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other relevant HR software.
