HR Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective manpower planning strategies, ensuring optimal staffing levels and talent acquisition processes for diverse manufacturing roles.
• Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding, attracting top talent to meet organizational needs.
• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training and development programs to enhance employee skills, foster career growth, and align with business objectives.
• Administer and refine the Performance Management System (PMS), including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent assessments, to drive high performance and productivity.
• Manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement of salaries and benefits.
• Lead and manage Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) initiatives, fostering a positive work environment, resolving disputes, and maintaining harmonious labor relations.
• Ensure strict adherence to all statutory compliance requirements related to labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, including contract labour management.
• Strategically manage contract labour operations, optimizing resource utilization while ensuring compliance and fair practices.
• Provide expert guidance and support to management on all HR-related matters, contributing to strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Possess 15 to 20 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion dedicated to plant HR operations within the manufacturing sector.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Master of Social Work (MSW), or Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM) from a recognized institution is mandatory.
• Demonstrated prior work experience within the auto components industry is strongly preferred, bringing relevant industry insights and best practices.
• Familiarity with the local labor landscape and prior work experience in Ludhiana or the wider Punjab region is a distinct advantage.
• Strong expertise in comprehensive plant HR operations, including talent acquisition, talent management, industrial relations, and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to effectively manage a diverse workforce, implement HR policies, and drive organizational development initiatives.
• Immediate availability to join and contribute effectively from day one is highly desirable.
