As a Java Backend Developer at Randstad, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems. You will be instrumental in leveraging your expertise in Java, Spring, and Hibernate to build solutions that power our operations and deliver exceptional user experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure the highest standards of code quality for all web applications.
• Work extensively with database frameworks like Hibernate to manage complex data structures and optimize database interactions.
• Conduct thorough unit testing using JUnit and other suitable testing frameworks to ensure application reliability and stability.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adhering to best practices in software development.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from initial conceptualization and design to deployment and ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure maximum performance, scalability, and responsiveness.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Java Backend Developer or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming language and its ecosystem.
• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA.
• Demonstrated expertise in ORM frameworks, particularly Hibernate, for efficient database management.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in working with various database systems, including strong SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for application deployment and infrastructure management.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model, collaborating both remotely and in the Pune office.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
