Java Backend Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Java development, particularly within the cards and payments domain. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Design and implement REST APIs to support various front-end applications and services.
• Work with Apache Kafka for building real-time data pipelines and streaming solutions.
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Utilize AWS or other cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) for cloud infrastructure and services.
• Adhere to best practices for clean coding, debugging, and problem-solving, maintaining high code quality.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and system design to ensure robust and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of mandatory experience in Java backend development.
• Proven experience within the Cards & Payments domain is essential.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and Microservices/REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to clean coding practices.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and API Standards is a plus.
