Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying critical enterprise-level applications. You will leverage your expertise in Spring Boot, cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and modern DevOps practices to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Implement and optimize REST APIs, ensuring robust caching mechanisms and resilience patterns (e.g., Circuit Breakers, Bulkheads, Rate Limiting with Resilience4j).
• Architect and deploy cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing services like GKE and Pub/Sub, and managing infrastructure with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Work extensively with Elasticsearch for advanced querying, aggregation, and performance tuning of data.
• Contribute to and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and manage artifact repositories with JFrog Artifactory.
• Perform comprehensive unit and integration testing using JUnit to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, leveraging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Micrometer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on professional experience as a Java Developer, specifically in enterprise application development.
• Exceptional proficiency in Java and extensive experience with Spring Boot, ideally with Spring Boot 3.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing REST APIs, including deep knowledge of caching strategies and resilience patterns.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP, GKE, Pub/Sub, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Demonstrable experience with Elasticsearch for complex data operations, aggregations, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including GitHub Actions and JFrog Artifactory.
• Strong background in testing methodologies, with practical experience using JUnit for unit and integration tests.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Micrometer.
• Good to have: Exposure to performance testing tools like k6, application performance monitoring (APM) tools like AppDynamics, Python scripting, Strangler/Strangulation migration patterns, and experience with LLM/AI tooling and Prompt Engineering.
