Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance applications using Python.
• Lead the development of modules and components, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Utilize Databricks for advanced data processing, analytics, and building robust data pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, solution architects, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Optimize application performance, ensure security, and troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
• Drive architectural discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap for Python-based initiatives.
• Take ownership of projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer, specifically in building scalable applications.
• Proven expertise in Python programming, including advanced data structures and design patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and its ecosystem for big data processing and analytics.
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Django or Flask, and experience with REST API design and integration.
• Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
