Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive product analytics initiatives to understand user behavior, engagement, and retention patterns within gaming products.
• Drive marketing analytics efforts, focusing on user acquisition, campaign performance optimization, and ROI analysis.
• Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies to validate hypotheses and optimize game features.
• Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and predictive models that inform strategic business decisions.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable business insights for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to align on data strategies and objectives.
• Monitor and analyze key gaming performance metrics, including player retention, monetization strategies, and overall game health.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using advanced Business Intelligence tools to track performance and support ongoing data needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in data analysis, with a strong preference for candidates from the gaming industry.
• Exceptional proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis of large datasets.
• Demonstrated expertise in Python for statistical analysis, data modeling, and automation.
• Advanced skills in Excel for data organization, visualization, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Hands-on experience with major Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Metabase.
• Proven ability to apply statistical analysis and experimentation (A/B testing) in a professional setting.
• Deep understanding of key gaming metrics including player retention, monetization strategies, and user acquisition funnels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A strong analytical mindset with the capacity to solve complex problems and drive data-informed strategies.
