Marine Technician

ITUS Sports & Safety Pvt. Ltd. is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Technician to join our dynamic Service & Maintenance team. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive servicing and repairs on Outboard Motors (OBM), ensuring peak performance and reliability.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on various marine vessels.
• Execute routine maintenance and conduct new builds for amphibious boats, adhering to strict industry standards.
• Manage rigging operations, including the installation of marine electronics and subsequent troubleshooting.
• Conduct thorough sea trials, Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), and implement effective preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, maintaining a high level of operational readiness.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company quality standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven experience as a Marine Technician, with a focus on outboard motors and marine vessel systems.
• Demonstrated strong hands-on skills in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• In-depth knowledge of amphibious boat maintenance, rigging, and marine electronics installation.
• Ability to conduct thorough sea trials and perform detailed Pre-Delivery Inspections.
• Commitment to applying best practices in safety, quality assurance, and preventive maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a demanding technical environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to various marine site conditions.
