As a Power BI Developer at Costaff Global, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated Power BI solutions. You will work closely with various business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs, translating complex requirements into robust and user-friendly visualizations. Your expertise will directly influence strategic initiatives, enhancing our operational efficiency and competitive edge through superior data intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain interactive and high-performance Power BI dashboards and reports to meet diverse business requirements.
• Create complex DAX calculations, measures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to derive meaningful insights from data.
• Build and optimize scalable data models within Power BI, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
• Execute and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) activities, integrating data from various sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs.
• Implement and enforce Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance standards to ensure data confidentiality and compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to gather and refine reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
• Provide ongoing support for existing reports, troubleshoot production issues, and implement enhancements to improve functionality and user experience.
• Utilize tools such as JIRA and Smartsheet for project tracking, task management, and collaborative workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech, BE, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven professional experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar Business Intelligence role.
• Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, including dashboard creation, report development, and advanced DAX formula writing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and database management, particularly with SQL Server.
• Solid understanding and practical experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with collaborative and project management tools like JIRA and Smartsheet.
• Experience working with data sources such as Excel, SharePoint, and various APIs.
• Knowledge of data governance best practices and experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
