Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy highly scalable and reliable server-side applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support various front-end applications and services.
• Integrate and manage data stores, specifically working with Redis and other relevant database technologies.
• Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Node.js development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 to 2.5 years of professional experience as a dedicated Node.js Developer.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, including schema design and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming paradigms and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
