Operations Executive - Data Analytics

As an Operations Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing our inventory accuracy, optimizing dispatch operations, and collaborating across various departments to uphold our high standards of efficiency and service. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and order fulfillment will be key to success in this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• For Executive – Inventory:
• Oversee and manage daily inventory operations, including efficient inward, storage, inter-warehouse transfers, and outward movements of goods.
• Ensure high inventory accuracy through rigorous cycle counts, regular physical stock audits, and timely reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Proactively monitor stock levels, analyze ageing inventory, identify variances, and manage all inventory movements.
• Maintain precise inventory records within WMS/ERP systems and generate comprehensive MIS reports for management review.
• Collaborate effectively with Warehouse, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Dispatch, and Finance teams to streamline processes.
• Identify inventory discrepancies and work towards their swift and effective resolution.
• For Executive – Dispatch:
• Manage end-to-end daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Coordinate seamlessly with warehouse teams, transporters, and various courier partners to optimize logistics.
• Monitor the entire dispatch cycle, including order processing, meticulous packing, smooth shipment handover, and dispatch closure.
• Track and report on pending, delayed, cancelled, and failed shipments, initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Manage coordination with 3PL/courier partners to resolve shipment-related issues efficiently.
• Prepare daily dispatch MIS reports and ensure strict adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support reverse logistics processes and RTO (Return to Origin) coordination wherever required.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of proven experience in inventory, dispatch, or warehouse operations within the D2C, E-commerce, FMCG, or Retail logistics sectors.
• Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, dispatch processes, and order fulfillment.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Order Management Systems (OMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and MIS preparation.
• Experience in managing relationships and operations with 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers and various courier partners.
• Strong analytical capabilities to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for operational improvement.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders.
