Key Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain complex Oracle database systems to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and availability.
• Implement and manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform comprehensive RMAN (Recovery Manager) backup and recovery operations, ensuring data consistency and recoverability.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot GoldenGate replication for real-time data synchronization and migration.
• Conduct advanced performance tuning and database optimization, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance system efficiency.
• Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for proactive monitoring, alerting, and management of the Oracle database landscape.
• Execute database upgrades, patching, and migrations across various Oracle versions with minimal downtime.
• Provide expert-level production database support, including incident resolution, problem management, and change implementation.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and support scalable database solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in a production environment.
• Profound expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including architecture, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and GoldenGate technologies.
• Strong understanding of database performance tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager for database monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Solid knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery best practices for Oracle databases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical concepts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
