Power BI Developer / Data Analyst

As a Power BI Developer / Data Analyst at Iplexsoft, you will play a crucial role in shaping our data strategy, working on challenging projects that demand both technical prowess and analytical thinking. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) visualizations to meet diverse business requirements.
• Build and optimize robust data models using advanced DAX expressions and Power Query (M) language to ensure data accuracy and performance.
• Integrate data from a variety of sources, including SQL databases, APIs, Excel, ERP/CRM systems, and various cloud-based data platforms.
• Continuously monitor and optimize report performance, data refresh processes, and data transformations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Administer and manage Power BI Service workspaces, data gateways, refresh schedules, and implement Row-Level Security (RLS) configurations.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data needs, and translate them into meaningful data-driven insights and solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data analytics infrastructure and best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with ETL processes and developing scalable data models.
• Proven knowledge of Power BI Service administration, including security settings and access management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, or Azure Synapse is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and scripting is a plus.
• Possession of a Microsoft PL-300 certification is considered an advantage.
