PTP (Account Payable) SME/TL

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process, including invoice processing, vendor master data management, and payment execution.
• Perform accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly to maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing accruals, reconciliations, and other relevant reports for Accounts Payable.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures within the PTP function.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to address queries and facilitate smooth operations.
• For Team Leads: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Accounts Payable professionals, managing performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• For Team Leads: Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the PTP function, leveraging technology and best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable (PTP) for an SME role, or 8+ years for a Team Lead position.
• Proven expertise in managing the full Procure-to-Pay cycle, with a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS for Accounts Payable processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a keen ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, essential for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively (for Team Lead applicants), including performance management and training.
• Ability to work efficiently in a UK shift environment and adapt to dynamic operational demands.
• Candidates must have an immediate to 15-day notice period for urgent onboarding.
