Purchasing Manager – Non-Raw Materials

Agri Exim is actively seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager – Non-Raw Materials / Technical Procurement to enhance our dynamic and expanding team. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic professional who will take the lead in orchestrating the complete end-to-end procurement lifecycle for all non-raw materials, with a specialized focus on technical procurement, ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency across our global operations.

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be instrumental in developing robust procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement within our purchasing processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to Agri Exim's sustained growth and operational effectiveness by securing high-quality, cost-effective non-raw materials and technical components essential for our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials, ensuring the availability of essential items for ongoing facility and equipment upkeep.
• Manage the sourcing and acquisition of mechanical and electrical items, optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee the procurement of construction materials and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) items, supporting new projects and infrastructure development.
• Identify, evaluate, and procure critical equipment, spare parts, and other technical requirements to maintain operational continuity and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough supplier sourcing, rigorous evaluation, and ongoing performance management to build a resilient and high-quality supply base.
• Execute technical buying activities and lead comprehensive bid evaluations to ensure the selection of optimal solutions and partners.
• Drive aggressive supplier and commercial negotiations to achieve favorable terms, cost savings, and value for the company.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes within SAP, including purchase order generation, goods receipt, and invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Spearhead the development and continuous improvement of procurement processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven strong procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to combine technical expertise with strategic sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization.
• Extensive experience with SAP Procurement modules and processes is essential.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable commercial terms and building strong supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate bids, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize procurement strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
