QA Automation Engineer

Follex Technology Solution Pvt Ltd is actively seeking a skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive automation testing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in test automation frameworks and methodologies, contributing significantly to our continuous delivery pipeline and overall product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Implement and enhance UI automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Perform API testing with tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or Newman to validate backend services.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with developers to resolve them.
• Contribute to the improvement of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in QA automation engineering.
• Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
• Demonstrable experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or Newman.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
