QA Engineer

Zenitus Technologies is looking for an experienced and dedicated Japanese Bilingual QA Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on projects for our Japanese clients within the Insurance sector, ensuring the highest quality standards for our software solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality assurance and excellent Japanese language skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Communicate testing progress, results, and issues effectively to stakeholders, including Japanese clients.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential quality risks and improvements.
• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure that all software products meet the specified requirements and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6-10+ years of professional experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Mandatory proficiency in Japanese language (N3 level or higher).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles and QA methodologies.
• Experience with testing in the Insurance domain is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for defect identification and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese.
• Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
