QA Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases for new and existing product features, ensuring thorough coverage.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to identify defects and ensure software integrity.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using industry-standard bug tracking systems, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to a collaborative and iterative development environment.
• Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback on the quality, usability, and overall user experience of software applications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure that the software adheres to specified requirements and quality standards.

Requirements

• 0-1 year of professional experience in Quality Assurance or a related field. Freshers eager to build a successful career as a QA Manual Tester in the FinTech sector are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Educational background: Master of Science (MSc), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science, or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail, crucial for identifying subtle defects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective bug reporting, documentation, and seamless team collaboration.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team in a hybrid work environment, adapting to project needs.
