SCADA Engineer

As a SCADA Engineer at SSM Infotech, you will be responsible for a range of tasks from system design to on-site implementation and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems tailored to client requirements.
• Configure and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for various industrial processes.
• Develop Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications for intuitive system operation and monitoring.
• Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of automation solutions on client sites.
• Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing SCADA and PLC systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and clients, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in industrial automation technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Instrumentation & Control.
• 2 to 4 years of proven experience as a SCADA Engineer or in a similar industrial automation role.
• Proficient in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric).
• Strong expertise in SCADA software platforms, with a focus on Wonderware.
• Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP).
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex industrial automation and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
