Selenium Automation Tester with Banking & Financial Domain

Zennsoft is actively seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Selenium Automation Tester with a robust background in the banking and financial services domain. This critical full-time, hybrid position is based in Wilmington, DE, requiring your presence on-site four days a week to collaborate closely with our innovative team. As a key member of our quality assurance group, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and executing advanced automation solutions that ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our financial applications. We are looking for a proactive professional who can contribute significantly to our continuous delivery pipeline and uphold the highest standards of software quality within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and meticulously execute comprehensive automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, leveraging both Java and C#/.NET, for various functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end scenarios.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and product owners to gain a deep understanding of requirements and ensure robust test coverage.
• Proactively identify, accurately report, and diligently track defects from initial discovery through to successful resolution using defect tracking tools like JIRA.
• Maintain, enhance, and strategically expand existing automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Cucumber) to maximize test efficiency and coverage across our product suite.
• Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and release coordination, adhering strictly to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Perform rigorous API testing utilizing tools like Postman and leveraging REST Assured principles to validate backend services and system integrations.
• Utilize strong SQL skills for effective backend and database validation, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across critical financial applications.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git to support a culture of continuous delivery and rapid feedback.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of overall experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years dedicated specifically to hands-on automation testing.
• Demonstrable expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automation scripts with Selenium WebDriver using both Java and C#.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining robust automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Maven, Cucumber).
• Mandatory and extensive experience within the Banking and Financial Services domain, with exposure to areas such as Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Payments, Loans & Lending, Credit Cards, Wealth Management, or Treasury/Financial Transactions.
• Solid understanding and practical application of API testing tools and methodologies, including Postman and RESTful API principles.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and strong command over Git for version control.
• Excellent SQL skills for complex database queries, data manipulation, and backend validation.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and project management tools, particularly JIRA.
• Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. (US Citizen, Green Card holder, or H4 visa candidates preferred).
