Senior AI Engineer

EPAM Systems is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Lead AI Engineer to join our innovative team, specializing in Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI. As a Senior / Lead AI Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and deploying advanced AI systems that leverage the latest in large language models and multi-agent architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Implement and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Develop and integrate multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions with existing cloud and API infrastructures.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of deployed AI models.
• Utilize Azure AI Foundry and other cloud AI services for model deployment and management.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on GenAI and Agentic AI.
• Proficiency in Python and extensive experience with AI frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AI model deployment.
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms and API integration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft / Azure AI Foundry.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
